Raymond Phillips

Raymond Phillips is an experienced commodities and equity derivatives trader, currently serving at Rand Merchant Bank since November 2020. Prior to this role, Raymond worked as an equity derivatives trader at ABSA Capital for a year, focusing on the pricing, trading, and risk management of non-linear derivatives. Earlier career positions include algorithmic trading and middle office analysis at Barclays Africa Group Limited from 2014 to 2019, and a teaching assistant role at the University of the Witwatersrand. Raymond holds a Master's Degree in Algorithms and Operations Research, a certification in Algorithmic Trading, and has achieved Chartered Market Technician status through the CMT Association.
