Jesper Kaas Schmidt

Jesper Kaas Schmidt is an experienced leader in municipal governance, currently serving as a board member at Randers Investeringsselskab A/S and Flodbyen Randers P/S since 2022, in addition to holding the position of Kommunaldirektør at Randers Kommune since 2017. Jesper has been involved in the Kommunaldirektør netværket Region Midtjylland since 2014 as chair, focusing on collaborative regional and municipal challenges. Prior roles include Kommunaldirektør at Norddjurs Kommune from 2007 to 2017 and at Hinnerup Kommune from 2005 to 2006. Education was completed at Aarhus University, where Jesper obtained a cand.scient.pol degree in political science.
