Anja Høy Nielsen

Anja Hajdukovic is a dedicated environmental scientist with extensive experience in research, communication strategies, and project management related to climate change and ecological conservation. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Université de Genève, Anja leads a project focused on the effects of heatwaves on freshwater ecosystems. Anja's previous roles include Scientific Coordinator at the Office fédéral de l'environnement OFEV, where Anja developed communication strategies and contributed to climate change risk management guidelines, and a Scientific Project Officer for the Arctic Change program. Anja has also been involved in various initiatives, such as the Geneva Climathon and the Fondation Danielle Mitterrand, emphasizing youth empowerment and human rights. Anja holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, complemented by study experiences at ETH Zürich and MGIMO.
