Peter Sheldon

Director, Center For Student Research at Randolph College

Peter Sheldon is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in physics and engineering, currently serving as a Professor of Physics and Engineering, as well as the Director of the Center for Student Research at Randolph College since August 1998. In addition to this role, Peter Sheldon has been the Chief Reader for the AP Physics Exam at Educational Testing Service since June 2013. Previously, Peter Sheldon held visiting assistant professorships at Davidson College and Wake Forest University. Peter Sheldon earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where a Master of Science in Physics was also obtained, following a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Mathematics from Amherst College.
