Alan Goodman

Alan Goodman possesses extensive experience in network operations and engineering within the higher education sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Network Operations at Randolph-Macon College since October 2014, Alan previously held positions at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1998 to 2013, including roles as Network Engineer/Analyst and Information Technology Manager. During this tenure, Alan contributed to the design and management of both terrestrial and wireless networks, along with being instrumental in the implementation of a campus-wide VOIP network. Alan holds multiple Bachelor of Science degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University in Information Systems, Business Administration, and Business Management and Information Systems, showcasing a strong educational background in technology and management.
