Karen Netto has a diverse work experience that spans various organizations and roles. Karen has served as the President & Senior Executive Officer of the Intellectual Property Student Organization at Georgia Tech, where they oversaw meetings, represented the organization at events, and organized visits to law firms and technology companies. Karen also worked as a Research Intern at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where they focused on literature review and the development of extended reality prototypes for military mindfulness training.

In addition, Karen has held positions at Georgia Tech RISE, where they handled administrative operations and fundraising, and at Random Acts, Inc., where they created and edited videos to communicate the organization's mission. Karen also worked as a Guest Services Manager at the Georgia Institute of Technology, providing building services and logistical support for events.

Karen's earlier experiences include working as a Front of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A, where they received a leadership scholarship, and serving as a Screening Committee member at the Atlanta Film Festival. Karen also held leadership roles in the Technology Student Association, where they led state conferences and mentored students in STEM, and founded and led AppilyDay, a youth-led nonprofit organization focused on public health advocacy.

Furthermore, Karen was an active member of the National Honor Society, participating in volunteering projects and serving on the Mentorship and Global Outreach Committees. Throughout their work experience, Karen has demonstrated strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Karen Netto has a diverse education history. Karen obtained their High School Diploma from MOT Charter High School in 2022, with a focus on Biotechnology. Following their high school education, they enrolled in the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2022, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. Additionally, in 2020-2021, they completed an IBM Quantum Academic-Year Course at The Coding School, focusing on Introduction to Quantum Computing and Engineering.

In terms of certifications, Karen has obtained several additional qualifications. In 2022, they received certifications in Engineering Principles I, Video Production I, Leadership Principles I, Digital Marketing, Customer Service, 21st Century Success Skills, Preparing for College and Careers, and Adult Roles and Responsibilities from YouScience. In 2023, they obtained a certification in Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research from the CITI Program.
