Colin Makin has over 10 years of experience in sales and new business development. In 2010, they began their career as a Regional New Business Sales Manager at Kaseya, a privately-held software company. In 2011, they moved to Quest Software as an Enterprise New Business Sales Executive for their Application Performance Management (APM) platform. In 2013, they joined Limelight Networks as a Senior Enterprise New Business Sales Executive and then Momentive-AI as a Senior Enterprise New Business Sales in 2014. In 2016, they became a New Business Enterprise Sales Executive at STEALTHbits Technologies and then moved to Quest Software again in 2017 as a UK Enterprise Sales Executive for their One Identity cyber business unit. In 2021, they were hired as a Strategic Account Director for HCL Technologies' cyber identity business. Most recently, in 2022, they were hired as the Cyber Security EMEA Sales Director at Randori, an IBM Company, and as the Sales Director UK&I at AttackIQ.
Colin Makin completed two Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degrees in Social Science and Politics & Economics from the University of Hertfordshire.
