Meshack Ouma has a diverse work experience that includes roles in sales and marketing, research, and voter registration. Meshack started their career as a Research Student at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) in 2015. Meshack later interned and worked as an Assistant Inventory Officer at KEMRI, where they primarily handled Abbott and Roche systems. In 2016, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Agent at the Co-operative Bank of Kenya. From 2017 to 2017, they served as a Voter registration, verification, and polling clerk at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). Meshack then transitioned to the medical industry, joining Cepheid EU-Caroga Diagnostics EA in 2018 as a Product Sales/Applications Specialist for the GeneXpert system. Meshack later moved to QIAGEN, where they worked as a Product Sales/Applications Specialist for the QuantiFERON system until 2022. Most recently, they worked as an Account Executive at Africa Biosystems Limited, focusing on Thermofisher products. Currently, Meshack is working as an International Sales Executive at Randox, where they manage distributors and handles various medical analyzers and reagents.

Meshack Ouma obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Masinde Muliro University Of Science And Technology, where they studied from 2012 to 2015.
