Reshma McMullan

Team Leader - Molecular Diagnostics - Assay Integration at Randox

Reshma McMullan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Reshma started their career as a Pathologist at Queen's University Belfast in 2009. Reshma then worked as a Learning Support Assistant at Harberton Special School for a brief period in 2010. After that, they served as a Care Assistant at Annadale Nursing Home Limited from 2010 to 2011.

In 2012, Reshma joined Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, where they initially worked as a Support Services Specialist until 2017. During their time at the trust, they also took on the role of a Clinical Engineer in the Gait Analysis Laboratory at Musgrave Park Hospital from 2015 to 2016.

Reshma then transitioned to Randox in 2017 and worked as a Biomedical Engineer until 2021. Reshma was then promoted to the position of a Molecular Diagnostics Research Scientist, a role they held until 2023. Subsequently, they became a Team Leader for Molecular Diagnostics - Assay Integration at Randox.

In 2022, Reshma joined Ulster University as a PhD Researcher, where they are currently employed.

Overall, Reshma McMullan has gained experience in research, engineering, healthcare, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Reshma McMullan attended Ulster University from 2012 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
