Sai Mahathi Yasa

Sai Mahathi Yasa has extensive experience in design assurance within the medical device industry, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at HOYA Surgical Optics since February 2022. Previously, Sai Mahathi worked at Advanced Bionics from August 2017 to February 2022, initially as a Systems Engineer before advancing to a Senior Systems Engineer role, focusing on requirements definition, reliability testing protocols, and comprehensive risk management aligned with ISO 14971 and EU MDR regulations. Prior experience includes an internship as a Design Assurance Research Associate at Locomotion Lab, where Sai Mahathi managed clinical data and supported high standards of data integrity, as well as a technical support leadership position at Arizona PBS. Educationally, Sai Mahathi holds an MBA in Organizational Management from Westcliff University, a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Arizona State University, and a B.Tech. in Biotechnology from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology.
