Vidya Sagar

Vidya Sagar is a Scientist at Randox, a position they have held for 4 years and 11 months. Prior to their current role, Vidya was a team leader, scientist, and senior research executive scientist at various companies. Vidya has over 9 years of experience in the development of immuno assays, cell-based assays, culture, and hybridoma mAbs development through high-throughput automation ClonePix FL, ELISA assay development, and virology. In their previous role as a junior research officer at Mediclone Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Vidya developed MAbs against B-Cell surface markers and led a team on a DBT funded project to characterize Indian poisonous snakes venom and develop MAbs for therapy. Vidya began their career as a research technician at Varun Hatcheries Pvt Ltd., where they worked on viral disease diagnosis based on PCR method, staining methods, histo pathology microscopic observation of viral infected tissues, and microbial analysis of water samples.

Vidya Sagar has a Doctor of Philosophy (Industrial Ph.D.) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, a PGD in IMMUNOTECHNOLOGY from University of Madras, and an MSc in Biotechnology from Andhra University.
