Cathrine Torsvik has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Cathrine began their career at Hotell Norge as a part-time waiter and cleaner while studying. In 2000, they briefly worked at DNB in customer service before joining Total Consult Bergen as an administrative assistant until 2005.
From 2005 to 2016, Cathrine worked at Proffice Bergen as both a Human Resources Staffing Consultant and a Business Consultant, handling recruitment, customer and employee follow-up, as well as advising on restructuring and downsizing processes. Cathrine also served as the Head of Operations, overseeing personnel consultants and secretary staff, and ensuring compliance with guidelines.
In 2016, Cathrine joined Randstad Norway as a Sales Manager until August 2019. From September 2019 until now, they have held the role of Business Area Director, responsible for the West region offices in Bergen, Ålesund, Stavanger, and Tromsø.
Throughout their career, Cathrine has showcased their abilities in personnel management, sales, customer service, and operations management. Cathrine has a strong focus on employee development and meeting clients' requirements.
Cathrine Torsvik completed their secondary education at U. Pihl from 1989 to 1992. Cathrine then pursued a Cand. Polit. /Master degree in Pedagogikk at the University of Bergen (UiB) from 1992 to 2000. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained certifications in various assessments such as MAP, MINT & Matrigma from Assesio in May 2016, Profiles XT, CHECKPOINT 360 from Profile International in November 2009, and OPQ from SHL in March 2008.
