Dan Kupetz

Dan Kupetz has a strong background in the entertainment industry, with significant experience in business affairs and operations. Dan currently serves as the Head of Entertainment Business and Legal Affairs at Range Media Partners. Prior to this, they operated their own consulting firm, Dan Kupetz Consulting, where they worked as the Principal.

Previously, Kupetz held executive positions at Twentieth Century Fox Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. At Twentieth Century Fox Television Studios, they served as the Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Operations, where they provided guidance to senior executives, led a team of negotiators, and contributed to financial and strategic planning.

During their 15 years at CBS Television Studios, Kupetz held the role of Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President of Business Affairs. In these positions, they played a key role in expanding the studio's development volume, overall deal roster, and series production slate. Dan was involved in negotiations for numerous overall deals and above-the-line agreements across various genres and international projects. Throughout their tenure, Kupetz collaborated with different departments and divisions to drive growth and adapt to industry transformations.

Dan Kupetz holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, where they attended from 1989 to 1992. Dan completed their undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in History from 1984 to 1988.
