Josh Thomas

Josh Thomas has extensive experience in the energy industry, with a focus on operations and engineering. Josh is currently the Managing Partner and Chief Operations Officer at Rangeland Energy since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations & Engineering and Chief Operating Officer at Nuevo Midstream from September 2020 to May 2022. From November 2018 to September 2020, they served as the Chief Operations Officer at Candor Midstream, LLC.

Before joining Candor Midstream, LLC, Josh Thomas held the position of General Manager at Layne, A Granite Company, where they worked from May 2017 to November 2018. Josh started their career at Southcross Energy Partners, L.P. as the Director of Engineering in January 2012 and worked there until May 2017.

Prior to their role at Southcross Energy Partners, L.P., Josh Thomas worked as an Engineer at Chesapeake Energy from January 2011 to January 2012. Josh also served as an Engineer at Crestwood Midstream Partners LP from March 2008 to January 2011. Josh Thomas began their career in the energy industry as a Pipeline Integrity Engineer at Panhandle Energy from 2003 to 2006.

Josh Thomas attended Texas Tech University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
