Ashley Thacker has a diverse work experience in the lifting, rigging, and safety industry. Ashley started their career as the Managing Director of Ranger, an independent business specializing in the supply and inspection of lifting equipment. Ashley played a key role in the company's growth and achievement of the full membership status of the LEEA.
In 2011, Ashley became the Managing Director of Lifting Gear Pty Ltd, where they continued to demonstrate their leadership skills. Ashley then joined the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) as a Director of the Board in 2011, representing the whole of Australia and Asia. In 2015, they became the Director of the Board for the Australian/New Zealand region.
Additionally, Ashley served as a Member of the ME-025 Lifting Tackle Committee at Standards Australia, preparing standards for lifting equipment. Ashley also became a Director at LiftQuip Australia in 2021, contributing to the company's growth and success.
Throughout their career, Ashley has shown technical expertise, ambition, and strong belief in herself, making significant contributions to the lifting industry.
Ashley Thacker obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Executive Master of Business Administration (E.M.B.A) from the University of Wollongong in 2015-2016. In 2017, they pursued a postgraduate double diploma in Social Media Studies & Digital Marketing at UC Irvine. Prior to that, they completed the Leadership 21 Business Course at Mt Eliza Business School in 2013-2014. Ashley Thacker completed their high school education at Heathcote High School from 1996 to 2001.
