Michael L. Dantzler, PE, currently serves as the Senior Director of Transmission at Ranger Power, where responsibilities include managing transmission and interconnection analysis for renewable energy projects aimed at benefiting local communities. Prior experience spans over 14 years at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) in various roles, including GIA Negotiator, Senior Advisor, and Manager of multiple departments focused on transmission planning and compliance. Previous positions include Transmission Planner at Ameren, where Michael developed long-range studies for the electric sub-transmission system, and Distribution Planner at Dynegy Corporation, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Millikin University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
