Lissa R. has a wealth of work experience, starting in 2005 with a Store Manager role at Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids, Hollister Co., and Gilly Hicks. In 2006, they took on the role of Public Relations Coordinator at Union College (Nebraska). In 2012, they assumed the role of Director of Talent Acquisition and Manager of Marketing Recruiting at Holiday Inn Club Vacations, where they were responsible for tracking expenses and budget, creating monthly reports, and utilizing social media to source for quality candidates. Most recently, in 2017, they joined The Ranger Group as Director of Operations and Operations Manager / Corporate Recruiter, where they provided Engineering and IT staffing services across a broad range of industries and organizations.

Lissa then attended Union College (NE) from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. Currently, they are enrolled at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Accounting.
