Neil MacKintosh

Neil Mackintosh possesses extensive experience in football coaching and education, currently serving as a Semi Retired professional since January 2024 with the Scottish Football Association. As the Coach and Player Education Manager for Rangers Football Club since June 2018, Mackintosh has coordinated player education and developed the coaching curriculum. Previously, roles included Performance Development Manager at the Scottish Football Association, where key achievements encompassed shaping the Performance Strategy and leading national youth teams, as well as Head of Youth Development, focusing on strategic guidance for youth football in Scotland. Additional experience includes positions with Ross County FC, Aberdeen FC, and academic roles at Moray College, reflecting a robust background in both coaching and educational development within the sport. Neil Mackintosh holds a B.Ed in Physical Education and Human Movement from Jordanhill College.
