George Lewis

George Lewis is an experienced educator currently serving as a Technology Teacher at Rangitoto College since January 2020, focusing on junior Hard Materials Technology and senior Construction, as well as teaching junior Visual Art and senior Photography. In addition, George takes on responsibilities in Design and Visual Communication for years 9 to 11 and senior international students. Previous roles include Substitute Teacher positions with the Ministry of Education of New Zealand and a long-term relief role at Rangitoto College, where George developed insights into diverse learning contexts. Prior to teaching, George gained practical skills as a Factory Hand and Assistant Cabinet Maker at Carlielle Kitchens. George holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching from The University of Auckland and a Bachelor of Visual Arts, alongside a Certificate of Achievement in Carpentry and Furniture Making Skills from Manukau Institute of Technology.
