Stephen Powelson

Stephen Powelson began their work experience in 2010 at Tesla Motors as a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Powertrain Manufacturing. Stephen worked there until 2015. In 2015, they joined Owens Design as a Mechanical Engineer and remained there until 2016. In 2016, they joined L2F Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer and stayed until 2017. During that time, they also worked as a self-employed Mechanical Automation Engineering Contractor specializing in equipment design, fixture design, and factory automation. In 2017, they joined Acorn Product Development, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager, responsible for product, equipment, and enclosure design. Most recently, in 2020, Stephen joined Rani Therapeutics as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Staff Mechanical Engineer in 2021.

Stephen Powelson attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to their time at MIT, Stephen Powelson attended Collegiate High School in Richmond, VA. No specific degree or field of study was mentioned for their high school education.
