Edward Scott

Edward Scott has a strong background in data management and governance. Edward most recently worked as the Head of Data Governance at The Rank Group plc. Prior to that, they were a Lead Data Consultant at Redkite. Edward also gained extensive experience at GSK, where they held various roles such as Enterprise Product Owner, Finance Data Business Partner, and Data Subject Matter Expert. Earlier in their career, Edward worked as a Data Consultant at OMV and BP, where they focused on data governance and management projects. Edward began their career at Halliburton as a Logging Geologist before transitioning into a senior logging role and then a data engineering position. Edward has demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, strategic visioning, and implementing data governance frameworks.

Edward Scott completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business & Strategic Leadership at the University of West London from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Marine Geosciences with a specialization in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of Plymouth, which they attended from 2010 to 2011. Before pursuing their master's degree, Edward earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Plymouth, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their academic degrees, Edward also obtained a certification as a Chartered Manager - Chartered Fellow (CMgr FCMI) from the Chartered Management Institute in February 2021.
