Sachin Wadhwa has extensive work experience in the field of data architecture and management. Sachin currently works as the Head of Data Architecture at The Rank Group plc. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Architect - Data at IBM from 2018 to 2022. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at ENGIE in various roles such as Information Management Manager, Information Management Architect, and Business Intelligence Architect. Before joining ENGIE, Sachin was a Manager - Data Assurance at PwC from 2012 to 2013. Sachin also worked at Oxfordshire County Council as a Principal Data Solutions Analyst/Consultant from 2009 to 2012, and as a Database Administrator from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, Sachin has experience as an IT Manager at Drewry Shipping Consultants from 2002 to 2005, and as a Software Analyst at Reliance Infotech from 1997 to 2000. Sachin started their career as a Programmer at Cottage Industries Exposition Ltd in 1996.

Sachin Wadhwa obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from Delhi University between 1993 and 1996. Sachin also attended NIIT from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Information Technology. In terms of certifications, Sachin has earned several, including the Chartered IT Professional (CITP) designation from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, in November 2023. Sachin received the IBM Certified Professional Architect - Cloud v5 certification from IBM in November 2021 and holds the Professional Cloud Architect and Associate Cloud Engineer certifications from Google Cloud (NJ), obtained in October 2020 and September 2020 respectively. Sachin also earned the Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development certification from Red Hat in September 2019, and the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon in August 2019. Sachin'scertifications from IBM include Architectural Thinking, Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner, and Cognitive Practitioner, obtained in February 2019, January 2019, and December 2018 respectively. In addition, Sachin holds The Open Group Certified: ArchiMate® 2 Certified certification from The Open Group since October 2014 and The Open Group Certified: TOGAF® 9 Certified certification since January 2013. Sachin also obtained the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in December 2010. Sachin's earlier certifications include the IBM Certified Advanced Database Administrator – DB2 9 for Linux, Unix and Windows in March 2009, the FileNet Certified Professional – Solution Architect from IBM in November 2008, and the IBM Certified Solution Designer – DB2 Content Manager in October 2006.
