Matías Figueroa Lowe

Matías Figueroa Lowe has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and testing. Matías is currently working as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Ranker, where they are responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of a TV shows recommendations and ratings app called Watchworthy. Prior to this, Matías gained experience as a Freelance Tester at uTest, where they participated in various testing projects focused on mobile and web exploratory testing and user experience for well-known companies in the digital entertainment industry. Matías also worked as a Semi Senior Automation Tester at Kolektor S.A., where they automated integration tests for a web system of the General Revenue Directorate of the government of the province of Córdoba, Argentina. Additionally, they served as a Quality Engineer and Automation Tester at Instituto Zunino, where they developed Java desktop applications and investigated tools for automating testing. Matías began their career as an intern at CIDS Centro de Investigación y Desarrollo de Sistemas, where they gained experience in software testing, manual and automated test case development, and defect reporting while working on the Electoral Management System project.

Matías Figueroa Lowe has a background in software testing. In 2020, they obtained a Software Testing Superior Diploma from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. Matías also holds certifications in the field, including the ISTQB® Certified Tester - Foundation Level from iSQI, which they obtained in January 2021. Additionally, Matías has a certification in Scrum Foundation Professional from CertiProf, which they obtained in August 2020. Prior to their diploma, they pursued Information Systems Engineering at UTN Facultad Regional Córdoba, although it is unclear whether they completed the degree. In terms of language proficiency, they obtained an Advanced English certification from Worldlink in December 2010.
