Shawn Bishop

Shawn Bishop has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Shawn began their career in 1978 with their own lemonade stand but faced difficulties due to poor location choices and lack of focus. Shawn went on to work as a juice maker/seller. In 1995, they founded their first venture called CitySpy, a hotline that provided information about local events and generated revenue through audio ads.

In 1996, Shawn became the General Manager and Partner at BJ's Tavern, where they managed various aspects of the business and developed a new name and business plan for the remodel. Shawn then joined St. Paul Companies in 1997 as a Senior Field Technology Analyst, working with Fortune 500 companies for insurance purposes.

In 1999, Shawn worked as the Web Manager for Enonymous, an early internet privacy company. Shawn later founded Digital Pipelines in the same year, providing services to online businesses across the United States.

In 2000, Shawn joined Walker Digital as an Internet Director, working on various internet ideas and initiatives. Shawn then became a Co-Founder of Playerline LLC (Round 2) in 2003, where they led product strategy on iPhone and Android platforms.

In 2007, Shawn founded RankPay, the web's first performance-based SEO service, and introduced the 'pay-per-ranking' pricing model. Shawn then co-founded Simplexity Ventures LLC in 2011, a parent/holding company for scalable mobile and internet ventures.

Throughout their career, Shawn has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and expertise in various fields, including technology, business management, and internet marketing.

Shawn Bishop began their education in 1990 at Johnson County Community College, where they studied Entrepreneurship Program. Shawn attended this college until 1991. Following that, from 1991 to 1995, Shawn enrolled in Kansas State University, pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
