Greg Martin

Greg Martin currently serves as the Assistant Head of School and Upper School Head at Ranney School since July 2017. Prior experience includes the role of Upper School Head at La Jolla Country Day School from July 2013 to June 2017, overseeing senior administrators, managing budgets, and coordinating academic activities for a student body of approximately 500. Previous positions feature Academic Dean at Cincinnati Country Day School, where responsibilities included administering the Pedagogical Growth and Development program and chairing various committees, as well as teaching literature and coaching varsity tennis. Earlier roles include English Teacher at Saint Ursula Academy, Adjunct Faculty at The University of Cincinnati, Clermont College, and Teaching Fellow at Kent State University. Greg Martin holds a Ph.D. in Shakespeare, Renaissance Drama, and Restoration Literature from Kent State University and has completed several certifications in nonprofit management and college counseling.
