Hamid Arabzadeh

Mr. Hamid Arabzadeh has been the Chairman, President and CEO of RANOVUS since its inception in 2012.

Prior to RANOVUS, Hamid was the Chairman, President and CEO of CoreOptics, a leading provider of 10/40/100Gbps optical subsystems for high-capacity networking applications, before being acquired by Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) in 2010.

Formerly, Hamid held various senior management positions at Nortel Networks in Latin America, Europe and North America. His last role at Nortel was VP & GM of Metro Optical business unit with business responsibilities for SDH (OM4000), DWDM (Cambrian Acquisition OM5000) and Multiservice OM6500 (Viking).

Prior to joining Nortel, Hamid was the President of UNICAD information systems, a custom CAD/CAM software development company in Canada. He is an Angel investor in startups in the Mobile, Cloud and Security market segments.

Hamid holds a B.A.Sc. from University of Waterloo in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an MBA from McGill University. He enjoys soccer, tennis, and downhill skiing.
