Mike Sekerka P.eng.

Mike Sekerka P.Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries, with a strong focus on engineering and technical roles. Mike is currently working at RANOVUS Inc. as the Vice President of Product Management since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Neptec Technologies Corp. for nine years, where they held positions as the Chief Executive Officer from September 2013 to May 2020 and as the Chief Operating Officer from June 2011 to September 2013. Mike also has experience as the Director of New Product Introduction (NPI) at DragonWave Inc. from January 2008 to June 2011.

Before transitioning to the private sector, they worked at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada as a Management Consultant in the Project Management Office from 2004 to 2007. Mike also worked at Innovance Networks as the Director of Systems Engineering from 2001 to 2004, and at Nortel Networks in various senior management and engineering roles from 1996 to 2002. Additionally, they served as a Systems Engineer/Aerospace Engineering Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1990 to 1995. With their extensive background and experience, Mike Sekerka P.Eng. brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role as the Vice President of Product Management at RANOVUS Inc.

Mike Sekerka P.Eng. obtained a B.Eng degree in Engineering Physics from the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada in 1987. Mike then pursued an M.Eng degree in Electrical Engineering (Photonics, Electro-Optics) from McGill University, completing it in 1989. In 1992, they became a Professional Engineer (PE) certified by Professional Engineers Ontario. Later, in 2010, they earned an Executive MBA in Global Leadership from the University of Fredericton.
