Hongxu Guo

Hongxu (Howard) Guo is a highly accomplished professional in the fields of robotics and engineering. Currently, Hongxu serves as the Founder of R Squared Robotics at Ranpak Corp since January 2021 and also holds the positions of Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer at Scientiach Robotics Corp. since October 2019. With a strong academic background, Hongxu obtained a Master of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech. Experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and various project leadership positions within Virginia Tech's robotics labs, where Hongxu has successfully contributed to innovative projects such as a humanoid robot and haptic feedback systems, as well as leading the Agbot Team to victory in competitions.
