Sarath Palani

Sarath Palani has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Ford Service Station, where they analyzed engine problems and assisted with vehicle maintenance. In 2007, they took on the role of Research Assistant at the Design and Manufacturing Institute at Stevens Institute of Technology, where they redesigned a helicopter instrumentation panel using composite materials. At Expertus Infotech, from 2009 to 2010, Sarath worked as a Subject Matter Expert, developing content for an e-learning course on heavy-duty diesel engine trucks and managing a team to fix issues. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Team Leader at GGS Information Services, overseeing a team involved in creating illustrations and conducting quality checks. Sarath then moved on to GGS Information Service as a Project Lead/Team Lead for Daimler India Commercial Vehicles from 2011 to 2012, managing repair engineers and monitoring production flow. In 2013, Sarath joined Dorman Products as a Mechanical Engineer, focusing on reverse engineering and product management, and later became an Assistant Product Manager and Diesel Product Intern. Sarath then worked at Woodstream Corporation as an NPD Project Manager from 2016 to 2022, responsible for executing new product introduction projects and collaborating with stakeholders. Finally, currently, Sarath is employed as a Sr. Engineering Project Manager at Ranpak since 2023.

Sarath Palani has a diverse education history. Sarath first attended Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering - Sriperumbudur from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering. Sarath then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2008. Continuing their education, Sarath obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the same institution in 2012 to 2013.

Additionally, Sarath has obtained several certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2015, they became a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate through VirtualTester Online and Tangix Design & Development AB. In 2013, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Furthermore, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2017.
