Sophie Veugen

Sophie Veugen has held various roles throughout their work experience. Sophie started their career in 2016 as a Medewerker Bediening at QCP - Quality Circular Polymers and subsequently worked at Harvey kitchen & bar and Tramhalte kitchen and bar in similar roles. In 2017, they became an Assistent-Controller at André Rieu Productions BV and held the position until 2021. During this time, they also worked as a Medewerker Bediening at Stadscafé LURE. In 2021, they transitioned to the finance field and worked as an Assistent Controller at Podium24 and Werk voor Heerlen. Sophie then joined SD Worx Nederland as a Consultant finance afdeling before being promoted to the role of Financieel controller. In 2022, they joined Ranpak as a Consultant finance department and later took on the role of Financial Analyst in 2023. Sophie Veugen has also worked as a Financial Consultant at Pragmatics from 2021 to 2023.

Sophie Veugen has a diverse education history. Sophie started their academic journey at Bonnefantencollege in 2008, where they pursued Atheneum with a focus on Natuur en Gezondheid. After completing their secondary education, Sophie enrolled at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in 2014. Sophie obtained their Propedeuse in February 2015 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Economics in August 2017. Sophie also obtained additional certifications, including Microsoft Office Specialist in January 2015 and VWO (pre-university education diploma) from Bonnefantencollege in June 2014.

Sophie's educational journey continued at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, where they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Control from 2019 to 2021. Prior to starting their master's program, they completed a Doorstroomminor (pre-master) in International Business/Management of Learning at Zuyd Hogeschool in June 2017.
