Alissa Sobel Hirschl

Alissa Sobel Hirschl is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching social studies at the high school level. Currently serving as a History/Social Studies Teacher at Ransom Everglades School since August 2019, Alissa also holds a position at Evanston Township High School (ETHS) since August 2012, where responsibilities include teaching high school social studies, AVID, and providing academic advising. Prior to these roles, Alissa worked as a Youth Development Specialist at Youth & Opportunity United. Alissa holds a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Teacher Leadership from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Teaching, specializing in History, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Further educational experience includes attendance at Charles University and completion of studies at Mt. Lebanon High School.
