Cynthia Suarez is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in victim advocacy and case management. Currently serving as a Victim Advocate at The Rape Crisis Center since March 2020, Cynthia provides emotional support to clients undergoing sexual assault exams and manages comprehensive case services tailored to meet clients' basic needs. Prior to this role, Cynthia worked as a Caseworker at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from November 2015 to February 2020, where relationships were fostered with community agencies to enhance child resources and facilitate access to essential services for clients. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management from the University of Phoenix and furthered education at Our Lady of the Lake University.

At Alamo Area Rape Crisis Center, we support and empower all survivors of sexual assault. Through our dynamic partnerships and collaborations, we continue to focus on prevention education to end sexual violence in our community. Our team is dedicated to significantly decreasing the number of those impacted by sexual assault. We practice a multi-disciplinary approach to support our community with a responsive medical team, a sensitive law enforcement department, and an active prosecution system. Our dedicated clinical team understands the importance of care before, during, and after an assault occurs. This is why, at the RCC, we provide a continuum of care that includes prevention, intervention, and advocacy through our 24-hour crisis hotline, free and confidential counseling services, and the prevention education program.
