Kristy Schumacher

Kristy Schumacher is a Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Interventional Pain Management at West River Anesthesiology Consultants, P.C. since January 2024, and also serves as a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner at Rapid City Medical Center, LLP. With over 25 years of experience at Regional Health, Kristy has held various roles including Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department and SANE Coordinator, providing critical care and leading trauma services. Kristy is a preceptor for nursing students, a member of rapid response teams, and actively participates in committees for quality improvement and nurse development. Kristy holds a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing, along with an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing, all from accredited institutions. Previous experience includes work as a Flight Nurse and foundational roles in various departments at Regional Health.
