Vaughan O'Connor

Vaughan O'Connor is an experienced business leader with a strong background in communications and marketing. As the Managing Director and Founder of King Island Distillery Bass Strait since August 2018, Vaughan has established a reputation for leadership in the distillery sector. Concurrently, as Managing Director at Informatic Communication Investment (ICI) since July 2016, and Rapid Media since March 2009, Vaughan has overseen significant growth and development within these companies. Rapid Media, a full-service communications agency with offices across multiple Australian cities, focuses on understanding client brands and enhancing consumer engagement. Earlier, Vaughan served as Director at FBI - Functional Business Innovation from March 2003 to March 2009, where the agency evolved into Rapid Media. Educationally, Vaughan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, specializing in Marketing and HR Management from the University of Tasmania, complemented by foundational studies at Marist Regional College in Burnie, Tasmania.
