Nick Marden

Nick Marden is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development, systems engineering, and team management across various companies. As the founder of Tight Line and Rapid River Software, Marden has created a multinational staff augmentation network and provided consulting services in application development, cloud computing, and database design. Notable roles include Principal Software Engineer and interim Chief Technology Officer at Avvo, where Marden led significant infrastructure migrations and team training efforts. Marden's career also includes leadership positions at companies such as Get Satisfaction, RMG Technology, VerticalResponse, and Akamai Technologies, contributing expertise in a range of technologies from Ruby on Rails to AWS. Marden holds a BA in Physics and Math from the University of Chicago and was a Ph.D. candidate in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
