Amr Saleh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Amr started their career in 2012 as a Desktop Support Engineer at Egyptian Armed Forces, where they provided support to over 200 military personnel and maintained servers within the network. In 2014, they joined B&K Precision Corporation as a System Administrator/Application Developer, responsible for systems operations, account management, system upgrades, and troubleshooting network hardware and software applications.
In 2016, Saleh moved to Apica Systems, where they held various roles including Technical Support Team Lead, Technical Support Manager, and Professional Services Manager. In these positions, they worked closely with customers to understand their goals and business needs, managed customer implementations and projects, developed and maintained sales workflows, implemented process improvements, and led a highly effective customer support team. Amr also handled customer escalations and ensured that established services processes and procedures were followed.
Most recently, Saleh joined Rapid7 in 2020 as a Technical Support Manager and was promoted to Senior Manager, Technical Support in 2023. In these roles, they are responsible for providing direction and support to customers integrating, deploying, and maintaining Rapid7's products.
Throughout their career, Saleh has demonstrated expertise in technical support, project management, customer relationship management, system administration, and implementing process improvements. Amr has also developed strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Amr Saleh began their education in 2004 by acquiring a High School Diploma in Mathematics from Ahmed Ibn Hanbel in Doha, Qatar. Following that, they pursued higher education at Ain Shams University from 2007 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Amr obtained a Collaborative Leadership certification from LinkedIn in May 2021, as well as certifications in "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" and "Networking in Google Cloud Specialization" from Coursera in July 2020.
