Christopher Lavery is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in testing and software development. Currently serving as a Software Engineer in Test at Rapid7 since October 2025, Lavery previously held positions at ESO from May 2022 to October 2025 as a Software Development Engineer in Test, and at FIREMELON LTD from October 2018 to May 2022 as a Software Test Analyst. Earlier experience includes a role as a Junior Software Test Analyst at Almac Group from June 2016 to October 2018, and a decade-long tenure at Tesco as a Customer Service Assistant. Lavery earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Information Technology from Queen's University between 2011 and 2015.
