Ethan H. has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, IT security and compliance, and nuclear operations. Ethan is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer - Platform at Rapid7 since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Capital Rx, where they served as the Director of IT Security and Compliance from January 2022 to March 2022, and as a Senior DevOps Developer from July 2020 to January 2022. Before joining Capital Rx, Ethan worked at TRG Services as a Senior DevOps Engineer from June 2016 to July 2020. Additionally, Ethan has a strong background in nuclear operations, having served in the US Navy. During their time in the Navy from 2011 to 2017, Ethan held various roles such as Reactor Technician, Reactor Control Drill Coordinator, Nuclear Electronics Technician, and Reactor Operator. Ethan demonstrated expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational supervision of reactor systems.

Ethan H. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering from Colorado Technical University, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit in 2013 and the Naval Nuclear Power School in 2012-2013, focusing on Nuclear/Nuclear Power Technology/Technician. In 2011-2012, they attended the Naval Nuclear Field A School, specializing in Instrumentation Technology/Technician.

Ethan H. also holds several certifications. In 2021, they obtained the AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2020, they achieved the Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional certification.
