Jamil Shehadeh

Jamil S. has a strong background in frontend engineering and has gained valuable experience in various companies. Jamil currently works at Tidal Cyber as the Lead Frontend Engineer, a position they started in November 2022. Before that, they were also a Lead Frontend Engineer at Urgently from August 2021 to November 2022.

Prior to these roles, Jamil worked at Celerium as a Senior Frontend Engineer from September 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for coding in JavaScript, React, HTML, Sass/CSS, Python, and MongoDB. Jamil also provided UI/UX improvements, optimizations, performance improvements, virtualization, and modernization across the Edge application.

Jamil began their career at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in August 2014 as an Application Developer. Jamil worked there until September 2018, gaining experience in coding in JavaScript, React, jQuery, handlebars, HTML, Sass/CSS, CF Script, and SQL Server. Jamil was also involved in version control with Git and used IDEs such as Sublime Text and Atom.

Before joining NASA, Jamil had a software engineering internship at GP Strategies Corporation from March 2014 to August 2014. During this time, they worked with JavaScript, jQuery, underscore.js, handlebars.js, HTML, and CSS.

Overall, Jamil has consistently held positions in frontend engineering, demonstrating expertise in various technologies and making valuable contributions to development teams.

Jamil S. attended the University of Maryland from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
