Joseph Agnew

Joseph Agnew has a range of work experience in the technology and information security fields. Joseph started their career as a Student Worker - IT Staff at the University of Minnesota from October 2006 to June 2008. After that, they worked as an Information Technology Professional at the University of Minnesota from June 2008 to March 2013. Joseph then joined Hennepin County Medical Center as an Information Security Analyst from March 2013 to May 2014. Joseph later moved to Rapid7, where they held various roles, including Security Sales Engineer from May 2014 to May 2015, Senior Security Sales Engineer from June 2015 to December 2016, Lead Security Solutions Engineer from January 2017 to September 2017, Manager of Sales Engineering from October 2017 to January 2020, Senior Manager of Sales Engineering from January 2020 to January 2023, and currently works as the Director of Sales Engineering at Rapid7.

Joseph Agnew completed their education at the University of Minnesota. Joseph obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics, which they pursued from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Security Technologies from the same university from 2012 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Joseph Agnew also earned a certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)2 in March 2014.
