Katerina Simpkins

Katerina Simpkins has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of UX design. Katerina is currently working as a Lead UX Designer at Rapid7 since January 2023, where they are responsible for leading the user experience design team. Before joining Rapid7, Katerina worked as a Senior UX Designer at the same company from April 2021.

Prior to their work at Rapid7, Katerina was a Twitch Partner at Twitch starting from April 2021. From June 2020 to March 2021, they worked at Convene as a Senior Product Designer.

Katerina's experience also includes working at TripAdvisor as a Sr. Product Designer from February 2018 to May 2020. Katerina played a crucial role in creating an intuitive shopping experience for travelers and improving business revenue.

Before their time at TripAdvisor, Katerina worked at PayPal as a UX Designer 3 from October 2017 to February 2018. Katerina'sresponsibilities included enhancing PayPal Here and working on a white label wallet project.

Katerina started their career as a Design Associate at athenahealth from July 2015 to September 2017. Katerina worked with multiple scrum teams to improve the Clinicals product by executing design strategies and conducting user research studies.

Earlier in their career, Katerina worked as a UX Designer at MobileAware from November 2013 to July 2015, where they collaborated with clients and the internal design team to create exceptional user experiences. Katerina also had a role as a Junior UX Designer at the same company from November 2013 to August 2014.

In 2013, Katerina founded Fluffy Dog Studios, where they served as the Owner, Designer, and Developer. Katerina took on various web development and graphic design projects for clients.

Following this, from 2011 to 2013, they attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a specialization in Graphic Design.
