Lisa Beekman has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Lisa has held leadership roles in various companies, with their most recent position being the Director of Experiential Marketing at Rapid7 since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Forrester for seven years, where they gradually progressed from a Manager of Events Marketing to the Director of Events Marketing. During their time at Forrester, Lisa was responsible for developing and executing the global events product marketing plan, driving lead generation, and overseeing all digital marketing efforts for Forrester's events.
Before their tenure at Forrester, Lisa worked as a Marketing Supervisor at Stavis Seafoods, where they developed marketing plans, led packaging design initiatives, and supervised the development of a trade show booth. Lisa also gained valuable experience at The Boston Beer Company as a Brand Development Creative Supervisor, where they managed a team of designers and significantly increased department output.
Lisa's early career included roles as a Part-Time Qualitative Assistant at Schlesinger Associates, an Assistant Account Coordinator at FitzGerald Communications, and a Research Assistant at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery.
Lisa Beekman completed their education with an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, where they focused on Strategy and Business Analysis as well as Marketing. Lisa received this degree from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University between 1996 and 2000. Their studies at Colgate University involved History and Economics as their field of study.
