Mike Cohen

Mike Cohen is an experienced digital paleontologist currently employed at Rapid7 since April 2021, following a similar role at Velocidex from March 2018 to April 2021, where responsibilities included deploying and managing an open source endpoint visibility tool. Prior to this, Mike served as a staff software engineer at Google from September 2010 to February 2018, contributing to significant projects such as GRR, an advanced incident response tool, and Rekall, a memory analysis framework. Mike's early career includes a role as a software engineer at the Australian Federal Police from 2006 to 2010. Academically, Mike holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Photonics from The Australian National University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The University of Queensland.
