Thomas McGuinness has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Thomas began their career at IBM in 2005 as a placement, where they gained valuable experience. In 2008, they joined Liberty IT as a Senior Software Engineer and continued in that role until 2017. In 2018, Thomas joined Rapid7 as a Software Engineer II and quickly advanced to the position of Senior Software Engineer in 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Lead Software Engineer at Rapid7.
Thomas McGuinness earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast. Thomas completed this program from 2003 to 2008.
