Pratyusha Madaksira Giridhar

Pratyusha Madaksira Giridhar has a diverse work experience in the medical and regulatory fields. Pratyusha started their career as a Volunteer at Detroit Medical Center, where they shadowed healthcare professionals and observed various surgical procedures across different departments. Pratyusha also participated in patient rounds and received training in patient safety and quality programs.

Pratyusha then worked as a Volunteer Research Assistant at Detroit Medical Center, where they collected cerebral shunts from patients with hydrocephalus and assisted in organizing seminars for patients and their families. Pratyusha actively participated in the Hydrocephalus Association Detroit WALK and educated children with hydrocephalus about cerebral shunts.

Pratyusha also worked as a Graduate Student Assistant at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where they conducted research on the complications of shunt systems used for managing hydrocephalus. Pratyusha provided support to the principal investigator in writing protocols for the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee.

Moving into the regulatory field, Pratyusha joined Zimmer Biomet as a Regulatory Affairs Associate. Pratyusha was responsible for compiling and documenting technical files, ensuring compliance with EU Medical Device Regulations. Pratyusha also researched medical devices, prepared classification tables, and handled international registration requests.

Currently, they are working as a Quality Engineer II at RapidAI, where they utilize their expertise in quality assurance.

Throughout their career, Pratyusha has demonstrated their commitment to the medical field and regulatory compliance. Their experiences in research, regulatory affairs, and quality engineering have provided their with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry.

Pratyusha Madaksira Giridhar completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology, from 2011 to 2015. Pratyusha then pursued a Master's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Wayne State University from 2016 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Pratyusha has obtained several certifications. In August 2015, they completed a course on AutoCAD 2D from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd - Official Page. In March 2012, they obtained the Business English Certificate (BEC) from the University of Cambridge- ESOL Examinations.
