Jeff Ratcliffe

Jeff Ratcliffe has a diverse work experience in the fields of business development, unmanned vehicle systems, propulsion systems, and non-profit organization management. Jeff currently holds the position of Director of Business Development at RapidFlight, LLC since 2022. Before that, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at AUVSI - Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International starting from 2021. From 2012 to 2022, Ratcliffe served as the Chief Technical Officer at Northwest UAV Propulsion Systems.

In terms of non-profit organization involvement, Ratcliffe was the President and board member of AUVSI Cascade Chapter, representing Oregon and Washington, for a two-year term from 2019 to 2020. Jeff also served as the Vice President of the same chapter from 2016 to 2019.

Prior to this, Ratcliffe worked at Insitu, Inc. as a Project and Program Manager from 2005 to 2012. Jeff started their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Lattice Semiconductor from 2001 to 2005. Before transitioning into the private sector, Ratcliffe served as a Nuclear Electrician in the US Navy from 1989 to 1995.

Jeff Ratcliffe earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University, where they attended from 1996 to 2001. In 2018, they completed a program called "Next Step: Transition to Business" at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
