Andrea Patiño

Andrea Pati is a Thermodynamics Engineer at KTM Factory Racing since October 2023. Prior to this role, Pati served as the Group Leader for Engine OpenFOAM at the Simulation of Reactive Thermo-Fluid Systems at TU Darmstadt from July 2022 to September 2023, focusing on developing advanced strategies for simulating internal combustion engines. Pati has extensive research experience at TU Darmstadt, where involvement from September 2017 to December 2022 as a Research Associate and PhD candidate included work in the same field. Earlier, Pati held a Research Associate position at TU Bergakademie Freiberg from September 2015 to August 2017. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt (2015-2022) and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2009-2015).
