Elías López has a diverse range of work experience in the technology field. Elías began their career in 2006 as an IT Research and Development Analyst at Open World Consultores C.A., where they conducted research on new technologies and developed business applications. Elías then worked as a Systems Analyst at Glassven, C.A. in 2006.
In 2007, Elías joined Corporación Venezolana Agraria (CVA) Leander Carnes y Pescados S.A. as an IT Specialist, where they were responsible for server administration, network services, and database management. Elías implemented backup data policies during their tenure.
From 2009 to 2013, Elías worked at Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado as a Linux Infrastructure Manager at SEDUCLA. In this role, they developed projects to expand and modernize the technology platform and infrastructure services. Elías managed servers with Linux/CentOS and the Distance Learning System based on Moodle LMS. Elías also handled web service configuration, database management, and storage tuning.
In 2013, Elías joined Ammeon as a Linux Support Engineer. Elías provided support and troubleshooting for Linux cluster installations deployed by an automation tool. Elías performed root cause analysis on reported cases and kept customers informed about the progress through the JIRA system.
Elías then moved to Rapid7 in 2017, where they worked as a Technical Support Engineer II. Elías had a wide range of responsibilities, including understanding clients' business objectives, resolving escalated issues, acting as a liaison between Rapid7 and customers, and troubleshooting on Windows/Linux platforms.
Most recently, Elías joined RapidRatings in 2019 as a Software Engineer. Elías is currently in this role, using their technical expertise to contribute to the development of software products.

Elías López holds a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Universidad Centroccidental "Lisandro Alvarado", which they completed between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution from 2000 to 2006.
In addition to their formal education, Elías has obtained several certifications. In August 2018, they obtained the Advanced Vulnerability Manager and Nexpose Certified Administrator certifications from Rapid7. Furthermore, they are scheduled to obtain the AWS Certified Security - Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023.
