Matthew Kearns

Matthew Kearns is a Junior Quality Control Engineer at RapidRatings since January 2020, where responsibilities include the introduction of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and the creation of automated User Interface BDD tests using Python Behave, Gherkin, Cucumber, and Selenium. Previously, Matthew held intern positions at RapidRatings as a Quality Control Engineer Intern and a Software Developer Intern, gaining experience with Python, Django, and the Software Development Lifecycle. Earlier roles include a Retail Assistant position at Musgrave, where Matthew managed product quality control and promoted sales, as well as a Retail Assistant role at Smyths Toys Superstores, delivering customer service during the busy Christmas season. Matthew holds a Bachelor's of Science (Honours) in Computing, Computer Science from the National College of Ireland and completed a Leaving Certificate at Coláiste Choilm, Swords, Co. Dublin.
