Steve Kerr is an experienced software architect and engineer currently serving as a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) at Rapita Systems since December 2016. Prior to this role, Steve held various software architecture and engineering positions at ARRIS for a brief period following the acquisition of Pace plc, where Steve worked from March 2001 until December 2015. Steve's earlier career includes significant experience at BAE Systems, GEC Marconi, Siemens, and Raytheon from July 1998 to March 2001, as well as a decade at Rolls-Royce plc focusing on aero engine control systems for civilian aircraft. Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Leeds, earned from 1985 to 1989.

In 2022 Danlaw Group acquired Maspatechnologies SL in Spain, expanding the specialized multicore verification expertise within the Rapita Systems group.
